Hamline ran into stiff competition and lost, 9-0, at St. Mary's Friday. Gabriel Guarin had the best showing in singles, losing his No. 6 singles match in three sets. Brandon Kuether and Matt Seracki also had a good showing, losing 8-6 at No. 3 doubles.
