Hamline's men's tennis team ran into a wall Wednesday and dropped a 9-0 decision to Carleton in Lakeville, Minn. 

Ben Ekstein went down swinging, losing his No. 5 singles match, 7-5, 6-3. Matt Seracki lost his first set at No. 3 singles by 6-4 before dropping the second by 6-0. 

The Piper doubles teams also went hard into the night. David Yanagita-Cody Jahrig (No. 1) and Seracki-Ben Klimek each lost their matches by just 8-5.

Hamline is 1-2 overall, 0-2 in the MIAC. They will meet Northwestern Friday and Bethany Lutheran Saturday in non-conference action.
