Hamline's men's tennis team got wins from their lower singles and doubles team but couldn't overcome Concordia in a 6-3 loss at Fargo Saturday night.Â
The No. 3 doubles team of Gabe Guarin and Sam Peterson rolled to an 8-2 win. Ben Ekstein swpt his way to a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 5 singles and Ben Klimek won a third set tiebreaker for a triumph at No. 6 singles. Matt Seracki, playing No. 3 singles, almost duplicated Klimek's feat, losing his tiebreaker by 10-6.Â
It was the MIAC opener for the Pipers, who stand 1-1 overall. They return to action Feb. 10 against Carleton in Lakeville. The match begins at 6:30 p.m.
