The Hamline men's tennis team used a sweep at doubles to overpower Lawrence, 6-3, Saturday in Orlando, Fla. 

Gabe Guarin, Ben Ekstein and Ben Klimek scored singles victory at Nos. 4-5-6 respectively but it was the doubles matches that turned the tide. 

It wasn't easy. David Yanagita and Cody Jahrig won at No. 1 by an 8-6 margin. It was even tighter at No. 2 with Matt Seracki and Klimek surviving a 9-8 decision. Guarin and Sam Peterson finished off the sweep with an 8-5 win at No. 3

Hamline improved to 6-5 overall. They will play twice on Sunday, March 20 -- meeting Union in the morning and tangling with Carthage in the afternoon.
