The Hamline men's tennis season ended Saturday with a 9-0 loss to Bethel at Holt Courts. As was the case two days before aginst St. John's, several matches were close. All three doubles teams won at least five games with the No. 1 team of David Yanagita and Cody Jahrig losing by 8-6. Jahrig also put up a stiff fight at No. 2 singles, losing his second set by 7-5. Gabriel Guarin grabbed the lead but couldn't hold on in losing at No. 4 singles in a pair of 6-4 matches. Ben Ekstein also played well, losing his No. 5 singles match by 7-5, 6-4.
The Pipers finish the season 7-13 overall, 0-9 in the MIAC.
