Box Score The Hamline men's soccer team -- and in particular Stefan Kinsinger -- were road warriors Wednesday afternoon. 

The Pipers rallied from a 2-0 second half deficit -- Kinsinger providing two of the goals -- for a 3-2 non-conference win at Viterbo. Hamline improved to 8-4 overall with the win and is now just one shy of their victory total of last season. HU also needs one win in their final five games to ensure back-to-back winning seasons for the first time over a decade. 

Kinsinger's outburst tied him with Adam King for the team lead in goals with five.

It took a while, though, for the Hamline offense to get in gear. The V-Hawks took the lead 17:16 into the game and added a second tally two minutes into the second half. Kinsinger, a junior, started the comeback with a solo effort at 59:15. Jack Reddan followed with his first collegiate goal 14 minutes later to knot matters at 2.

Overtime was looming but Kinsinger took care of such thoughts when  he converted a feed from James Reardon for a goal with 3:31 left in regulation time. It was his second game winning tally of the season.

GK Malachy Zamacona and the Piper defense finished the deal from there. Zamacona, a sophomore, earned his second straight win and improved his overall record to 3-0-0. Hamline held a 19-5 edge in total shots with Kinsinger leading the way with four efforts. 

The Pipers are part of a three-way tie for second place in MIAC play with nine points on a 3-2 record. They return to conference play Saturday at Augsburg (6-5, 2-2). Game time is 1:00 p.m.
