SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Hamline University senior
Rigoberto Arellano (San Diego, Calif./Montgomery) and junior
Alec Setterberg (Allen, Texas/Allen) have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees, the organization announced Tuesday, Nov. 25.
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least sophomores, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and meet sport-specific athletic eligibility requirements. This is Barrett's first Academic All-District honor as a Piper.
Arellano played in 19 games this season for the Pipers, playing 1545 minutes on the field and contributed 7 shots for the team. He also earned MIAC Honorable Mention honors this season.
Setterberg played in 17 games games this season for the Pipers, playing a total of 1510 minutes in goal. He finished the season with a 1.61 GAA and 79 saves for a .745 save percentage.
The Pipers finished the season 9-8-3 overall and 1-7-2 record in conference play.
