Jake Trondson has quickly become accustomed to the pace. The sophomore had a pair of wins Friday for the HU men's tennis team in a 7-2 loss at Wis-Eau Claire.
The St. Paul, Minn. native won his No. 1 singles match, 6-0, 6-3 and then paired with
Matt Seracki for a win at No. 1 doubles, 8-4. Seracki put up a good fight at No. 2 singles with a 6-4, 7-6 loss.
The Pipers, now 1-1 overall, get back into the swing of things Saturday with matches against Dubuque and Bethany Lutheran at the U of M Tennis Center. Action begins at 12:00 p.m.
