The final score was a bit deceptive but the Hamline men's tennis team rebounded nicely for an 8-1 win over Wartburg at U of Minnesota Courts Saturday morning. The Pipers improved to 4-2 overall by sweeping all six singles matches (although three of those matches had to go three sets) and winning two of three doubles matches.
Jake Trondson (pictured) improved his record at No. 1 singles to 5-0 with a 6-0, 6-2 win.
Matt Seracki upped his totals to 5-1 when he rallied from a 3-6 first set loss for 6-1 and 10-6 wins at No. 2.
Gabriel Guarin and
Ben Klimek followed Seracki's lead and won their singles matches in three sets.
