The Pipers fought hard but bowed to the Knights, who are undefeated in MIAC play, 9-0, Saturday morning at the U-Minnesota tennis facility.
Jake Trondson put up stiff resistance at No. 1 singles before dropping a 6-3, 6-4 verdict.

Gabriel Guarin came the closest in that part of the match, losing 8-5. The Pipers are 7-5 overall, 0-4 in MIAC play.
The scheduled April 15 match against Minnesota-Morris has been postponed due to weather conditions. The Pipers are slated to return to the court against North Central (MN) oin Tuesday, April 17. The match is at the U-Minnesota and is slated for a 6:30 p.m. start.
