Elias Ramirez (pictured) was part of two victories for the Hamline men's tennis team in a 6-3 loss at Wis-Eau Claire Saturday. The freshman had a 3-1 lead in his No. 2 singles match when his opponent retired. Ramirez and Nazeer Robinson improved to 2-0 as a doubles team with an 8-1 win. No. 1 Jake Trondson improved to 2-0 in singles with a 6-0, 6-3 win. Hamline, now 1-1 on the season, opens MIAC play February 16 against St. Olaf in Owatonna, Minn.
