The HBU men's tennis lost just three games in total and swept away Crown, 9-0, Friday in Lakeville, MInn. in the season opener for both teams. Jake Trondson picked up where he left off last fall at the ITA Tournament with a pair of 6-0 wins at No. 1 singles. 

Newcomer Elias Ramirez won at No. 2 by 6-0, 6-1 margins. Nazeer Robinson (3), Andrew Argeros (5) and Dang Lee (6) scored 6-0 sweeps with Tou Ger Xiong winning at No. 4 by 6-1, 6-0. 

In doubles, Trondson and Xiong scored an 8-1 win with the pairings of Robinson-Ramirez and Lee-Cory Penick taking 8-0 wins. 

Hamline gets back on the court on Saturday, February 9 at Wis-Eau Claire.
