The men's tennis came close to upending St. Thomas for the first time in a dozen years, dropping a 5-4 decision late Friday night at Baseline Tennis Center.
Jake Trondson and
Elias Ramirez continued their excellent start to the season with straight set wins at No. 1 and 2 singles. Trondson and
Nazeer Robinson rolled to an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles and the pairing of Ramirez and
Tou Ger Xiong won at No. 2 doubles by 8-5.
Hamline, now 3-3 overall and 0-2 in MIAC play, gets back on the court Saturday, March 2 at Gustavus Adolphus.
