A couple of weeks off has not dulled
Jake Trondson's tennis game. The junior blew away St. John's No. 1 player by a pair of 6-2 scores for the Pipers' lone point in a deceptively close 8-1 men's tennis loss in Collegeville Friday.
Elias Ramirez (No. 2 singles) and
Nazeer Robinson (No. 4) each split their first two sets and then lost the third set by an 11-9 margins.
Trondson and
Tou Ger Xiong put up stiff resistance before falling 8-6 in No. 1 doubles.
Hamline, 8-11 overall (1-7 MIAC) wraps up the 2019 season Sunday at Bethel.
