Elias Ramirez's excelent adventutre into the worlds of MIAC men's tennis continued Friday when the freshman was on ther winning end of a pair of matches in the Pipers' 6-3 loss to St. Mary's in Winona, Minn.
Ramirez upped his singles won-loss mark to an impressive 13-2 with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2. Elias and
Gabriel Lopez made it four wins without a loss in doubles with an 8-4 decision at No. 3.
Jake Trondson stretched his winning streak to seven in a row (and an overall mark of 12-2) with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles.
The Pipers, who play Macalester Saturday, April 6 at Baseline Tennis Center (5:30 p.m.) are 7-8 overall, 0-4 in MIAC play.
