Jake Trondson won a pair of matches for the Piper men's tennis team, which dropped a 6-3 decision to Macalester Saturday night at Baseline Tennis Center. Trondson pushed his winning streak at No. 1 singles to eight straight with a 6-2, 6-1 decision. He also teamed with
Tou Ger Xiong at No. 1 doubles for a solid 8-3 win.
Elias Ramirez improved to 13-2 this season in singles with a 6-4, 7-6 (5) win at No. 2.
Hamline is 7-9 overall on the season, 0-5 in MIAC matches. The Pipers return to the court April 14 against Concordia.
