Bond named to All-Rookie Team

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The men's hockey postseason awards were announced Tuesday afternoon by the MIAC office and Hamline's Jackson Bond was named to the All-Rookie Team as well as being recognized on the All-Conference Honorable Mention Team.

Bond, a Roseville, Minnesota native, is the first Hamline player to make the All-Rookie team since Kyle Wendorf earned the honor after the 2017-18 season.

The first year led the Pipers in scoring on the season, finishing with 23 points (11 goals and 12 assists). He started the year especially strong, recording at least one point in 13 of the first 16 games of the season.

In the team's season-opening win against Trine, Bond scored twice while dishing out an assist for three points on the night, which was one of his seven multiple-point games throughout the year. He also scored two goals in games against Northland and UW-Stevens Point.

Senior Brady Crabtree was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
