Despite having their seasons cut short, the Hamline athletic department would like to recognize and honor the 2020 senior spring class of student-athletes. These 37 individuals have made a lasting impact on their program and the Hamline campus as a whole. Every day for the next few weeks, please check back to this page as a new senior will be added each day.

What were you most looking forward to for this spring season?
I was looking forward to trying to hit my PRs and goal times, and trying to qualify for one last conference meet.
Â
What is one of your favorite memories of your time at Hamline?
My favorite memories were pretty much all the times I got to spend with the track team. Whether it was practice or a meet, I think there was always something to take away from it that was memorable.
Â
Who is someone that has had a positive impact on you during your time as a student-athlete?
All of my coaches - they will each have a lasting impact in their own way and I'm so glad I got to spend the better part of four years with them.
Â
What are your plans after graduation?
Hopefully starting a career as a data analyst.
Â
What is your advice for your younger teammates?
I think everyone knows that once track is over they are going to miss it, but you probably won't know how much until it's actually almost over. My advice would be to try to understand what the experience will mean to you early on and let that motivate you throughout your time as a track athlete.
Â
What are you most proud of about your career as a student-athlete?
I am most proud of being able to maintain the motivation for everything I'm involved in. It can be stressful and tiring having so much going on, but I can look back and say I'm proud of how I continued to strive to be better in all aspects of my college career. Â
