SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Hamline University men's basketball sophomore wing Bradley Cimperman was named to the 2022-23 D3Hoops.com All-Region Second Team. This marks the Hamline men's basketball program's first All-Region selection since Carl Hipp earned first team honors in 2010-11.
Cimperman, who started all 27 games for the Pipers, ranked fourth in the MIAC with 20.3 points per game on .420 (181-of-431) from the field and finished second on the team with 48 three-pointers made. His 431 field goal attempts ranks 13th in the country. The St. Paul native's 137 made free throws puts him at No. 11 in NCAA Division III, while his 177 attempts ranks him 16th nationally. He registered a school-record 51 points in an 85-82 victory over Gustavus Adolphus on January 16, also second in MIAC history.
Cimperman scored 20+ points on 13 occasions this season. He was named to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week twice (January 24, February 7), MIAC Offensive Player of the Week twice (January 9, January 23), and earned a spot on the 2022-23 MIAC Men's Basketball All-Conference Team.
