RESULTS
SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's track & field team made the short trek down Snelling Avenue to compete at the Macalester Rider-Bolstorff Invitational on Saturday. The Pipers took ninth place with 26 points, while UW-River Falls claimed the team crown with 155.5 points.
Lexi Brainer notched a second-place mark of 38.20m in the discus, and a third-place toss of 12.31m in the shot put. Jade Hunt followed Brainer with a 37.20m in the discus, good enough for fifth place. The hammer throw saw Brooke Tracy notch seventh place with a 43.30m, while Hunt wasn't far behind with an eighth-place mark of 42.88m.
Fourth place was in the cards for Brooke Baumann in the 400 meter dash, where she crossed the finish line at 1:01.69. Aliyah Robran's 1:03.14 in the 400 meter dash put her in ninth place.Â
