Cooper Johnson and Rumeal Setts Highlight Pipers on 2024-25 MIAC Men's Tennis All-Conference Team

SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Graduate student Rumeal Setts, and first year Cooper Johnson represent the Hamline University men's tennis team on the 2024-25 MIAC All-Conference Team. They are the first Pipers to earn a spot on the singles team since 2019, when Jack Trondson and Elias Ramirez earned the distinction. This is the second-straight trip to the doubles team for Setts.

Cooper Johnson paced Hamline in overall singles victories with a 12-7 record, mostly from the No. 3 position. The Sioux Falls, South Dakota native also saw time at the No. 2 and No. 4 singles position. He also led the Pipers in doubles victories with a 12-7 record across three partners, primarily at No. 3.

Setts finished third on the team in singles victories with a 10-7 record, and doubles wins with a 9-7 mark all from the No. 1 positions. He owns career records of 19-15 at singles, and 27-10 at doubles over his two seasons.

In addition, junior Tyler Rousslang earned 2024-25 MIAC Men's Tennis Honorable Mention Doubles. On the women's side, Elanna Kohner was named to the 2024-25 MIAC Women's Tennis Honorable Mention Doubles squad.
