The women's basketball season has been over for nearly a month. But the honors keep rolling for Jordan Sammons. The sophomore earned a spot on the d3hoops.com West Region second team for her overall efforts during the 2012-13 season. Sammons finished second in the league in rebounds (8.3 per game) and steals (3.15) and fourth in points (14.9). A tireless worker at both ends of the court, the Burnsville, Minn. native was one of just 10 players to average 30 minutes a game in the recent season. It was her second national post season sport notation. Last fall, she was voted to the North Region third team by the NSCAA for women's soccer.
