The MIAC Cross Country meet is still 3+ weeks away. But HU sophomore Helen Dolan is wasting no time rounding into excellent form.

The Massachusetts native was the top Piper across the finish in last Friday's race sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Dolan ran the 6K course in 23:11.1, finishing in 30th place. It was a two minute improvement from her last race. It is also a minute faster than hes finish at last year's MIAC Meet when she placed 41st in 24:09.1.

Dolan and the Pipers have one more meet to use as a prep for the October 27 championship battle at St. Olaf. HU will compete in a meet hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on October 13.
