MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University track & field teams made the short trip to the University of Minnesota to participate in the Running on Hope Invitational on Wednesday. No team scores were recorded.
Another individual title was on the docket for Alexandra Maddux, who paced the women with a first-place time of 4:42.23 in the 1500 meter run. Madison Reed had a stellar day throwing for the Pipers as she notched a sixth-place toss of 47.49m in the hammer, and a seventh-place mark of 40.10m in the discus. Molly Meyers commanded Hamline in the shot put, where she secured 11th place with an 11.88m. Lindsey Bernardy led the way in the 400 meter run with a 10th-place time of 1:00.23.
The men were led by Michael Braun, who prevailed with a fourth-place leap of 13.47m in the triple jump.
The Pipers return to action at the St. Thomas Tommie Twilight on Wednesday, May 3.
