RESULTS
NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University men's and women's track & field teams competed the St. Olaf Quad and Multi on Saturday afternoon. The men notched ninth place with 20 points, while no team scored was recorded for the women.
WOMEN
Molly Meyers claimed the shot put title with a mark of 12.77m. Desirae Dates took seventh in the shot put with a 11.29m.Â
The 3000 meter run saw Alicia Maddux notch second place with a 10:58.39, followed by Libby Roberdeau's third-place time of 11:08.04. Second place continued courtesy of Madison Reed's toss of 15.96m in the weight throw. Lexi Brainer's 15.25m in the weight throw was good enough for fourth place.Â
Anabel Bradley crossed the finish line at 2:31.11 in the 800 meter dash en route to third place. Daniela Sanchez-Castillo followed Bradley with a seventh-place time of 2:39.99.Â
Terra McMahon qualified for the 60 meter dash finals, where she notched fifth place with a 8.15. The 400 meter dash resulted in an eighth-place time of 1:04.07 for Andreiana Aurelius. Bria Luepke kept the eighth-place trend alive in the pole vault, where she cleared the bar at 2.80m.
Frankie Witham accumulated 2045 in the pentathlon, which ranked her fifth out of nine contestants.
MEN
Jackson Lightner highlighted the sprinters with a fifth-place time of 8.72 in the 60 meter hurdles. The 600 meter run saw Raul Ortiz take seventh place with a 1:27.97. Third place was in the cards for Michael Braun, who cleared the bar at 1.85m in the high jump.
Austin Schloeder paced the pole vaulters with a mark of 4.20m, good enough for fourth place.Â
The Pipers will participate in the Luther Invitational on Saturday, February 3.
