Elias Ramirez is giving the Hamline men's tennis team a very potent 1-2 punch. The Pipers already had All-American Jake Trondson serving and volleying up a storm. Ramirez, a freshman, is going stride for stride with Trondson in the early going. Elias swept to straight set victories last Saturday against St. Ambrose and Martin Luther to up his singles record to 5-0 on the young season. 

The freshman is 4-1 in doubles after teaming up with Gabe Lopez and Levi Duwenhoegger at number three doubles wins last Saturday. Hamline defeated St. Ambrose, 6-0 and Martin Luther, 9-0, to up their season record to 3-2.

The Pipers return to the court March 3 to take on St. Thomas at Baseline Tennis Center. The match begins at 6:00 p.m.
